incident 3 - some IIT guy is suffering from a so called once in a million disease and so pls pass on the msg... so that he may get money..... blah blah blah...
incident 4 - Jai ganeshay namah..,,(or watever).... i get this msg when i wake up.. and it says.. fwd it for ur gud luck... and some go to the extent ... if u wont ... u will hav a badluck for next one year or so...
incident 5 (comparatively sensible but still non-sense....) - one girl named christie is suffering from some disease ... she urgently needs B positive blood .... pls help by fwding this msg... (most of them dont have any contact no.)....

P.S. - Airtel gives free local sms service in my circle (T.N.)... so in other words if this sms is fwded... firstly airtel will be increasing the load on its SMS servers... and secondly they will be bearing a loss as the sms is free... so effectively... airtel will have to spend lets say.. some 20 ps. just for giving 10 paise to this blind girl...(who doesnt even exist)... good isnt it?? i din knew airtel guys were this intelligent ....!!!!

Although many of us understand its not true... then also to be on the safer side we jus get the load off ourselves... not thinking that we are not jus keeping ourselves on safer side... but instead putting our friend in jeopardy... if the next guy believes too much in god... then he definitely cant ignore this msg... and dats how the story continues...

The very after i got email account i had some of my best friends sending this "pass if u are my friend " msg.. (oops.... i din fwd... but hey! he's still my friend... gr8??!!! hey.. but i wont tell this to him.. or else he'll break the friendship for not fwding that msg... ... wat chaat !!!! )...

Guys i am using orkut since past two years.. and i havent fwded that msg "if u dont send this to all ur contacts in ONE WEEK ur account will be deleted from orkut... " whoa... is it that i jus managed to fool the orkut guys.. or they dint notice me.. or wateva...
but have u ever thought wat max. can happen if i dont fwd that msg... GOOGLE wch has the largest storage space in the world... will delete ur account jus because of sudden rush on orkut.. whereas on the other hand they are still spending millions on the publicity of orkut ... so that they may get new users... amazing...!!!
and SUPPOSE (i know its not possible but still for ur satisfaction)... if they delete my account on orkut... and tell me to pay some $10 per month for using it...
why will they provide it to you free ...?? oh ... jus becoz u fwded their msg.. wch told about some bad policy of their company (if they wud have got any marketing skills ... they will better not give DHAMKI to their customers... )... cool... and more... if they wont provide it free.. do u think... how many of ur frends u think will remain there on orkut... i guess not even 5% will be ready to pay that price... in other words none of ur frends will be thr on orkut anymore.. then... wat da hell r u gonna do thr man??

if google , yahoo etc. etc. had to give money for charity.. dont u think they wud have better started some organization for that.. or gave it to some already active social organisation and made a huge publicity stunt sort of thing.... as nothing gets your image better than doing charity... (look at our filmstars... )
wats most common in all these msgs is that they will try to use ur emotions and sentiments... wch is the weakest (for us) and say the best target for them....
The Most recent was when i got an sms saying some final year of our college needs this blood group... the msg had tel. no. of hospital in which it claimed, he was admitted... i got it and as it sounded sensible i fwded it to all mah frends... then there were calls coming to me from students having the same blood group... they told me there was no one in that hospital ... they had called up thr...
so they were inquiring me... so i thought of a good way to get to that person.. i passed the contact no. of guy who had this blood group and wanted to donate blood back to whr i got the msg from.. so that msg could trace back to whr it all started... But the next day i found... it was all crap ... no final yr. student of our college was admitted...
Isnt that disgusting.. ppl jus make some crap msg for fun... and they dont even think of the troubles others might have..
Not just this... i also get this daily dose of all frends from orkut sending me some JHOOS invitation.. or somebody "TAGGING" me.... i havent clicked on any of them yet.. .but dear frends if u also receive any msg like dat frm me.. then understand that the website was able to fool me and get my orkut friend list ... and then carry on their dirty ways of publicity...
PPL pls use ur brains before fwding any msg like that... otherwise that 2yr. old girl suffering from some terrible cancer... (since 1996 .... and still she's two...)... will continue to be in ur inbox.. from here or there... unless she's becomes an old lady who again needs money for some terrible operation and yahoo, msn will agree to pay.....
